Hell's Half Acre.
Me and the boys went on a hike last week at Hell's Half Acre. It was beautiful. Some of the spring cactus were in bloom, and the best part was that it is still too cold for the rattle snakes to be out!

My cousin Marianne tagged me! If you have our other family blog address, then you can read the answers there. As I was going through the questions, I decided to post some pictures of Matt & I when we were dating. Don't we look like little babies?! Those days were sure fun!

Sshhh!-It's Oh So Quiet!
Brigham can fall asleep anywhere!

Every Wednesday, and Friday mornings I get to babysit Kevin and Dana's little girl Suni. Kevin and Dana are both in school at the same time on those mornings, and of course I don't mind having a little girl around! Needless to say she gets LOTS of attention!! Here Orion is holding her and cougar is looking on with wonder!

One of the things we do when we have Suni is take PICTURES!! Isn't she beautiful?!

This is one of Brigham's favorite spot to play. I could say that my cupboard is messy because it is Brigham's favorite place to play, but...my cupboard is just messy! Maybe my next post should be an organized cupboard. Mmmmm...tune in to find out.


Okay, I know that Brigham will just love the fact that I am posting this picture of him, but I have to document the fact that he pooped in the potty! He has been potty trained for over a year now....except for the poop part. He will NOT poop in the potty! He will not poop, period! It has been a struggle and a concern for quite a while. So I will look at this picture and know that there is hope, and we are good now for another week!

The boys are still playing the violin. Here is Orion practicing. I know someday they will truly appreciate the time that they have put into the violin. And I have to ignore the constant "Mom, do I have to practice again?" I love to here them play!!

Orion was baptized on January 5, 2008. It was such a great day! The weather wasn't very good. Lots of wind and snow. His baptism was scheduled for 10:00 that morning. When we got to the stake center, it was very quiet. The stake primary was there to help us get ready, and they said the other baptisms cancelled because of the weather. So they had been sitting there since 8:00! It was short and sweet and very quiet. Orion had a friend that was at the stake center cleaning with his family, and he got so excited thinking that he was there for his baptism. His mom let him stop cleaning and come in for it. Rion played the opening song on his violin, Matt baptized him, Jerry (Matt's Dad) confirmed him, and my mother gave a talk on baptism and the Holy Ghost. I had everyone there write a note to him for his baptism book. We love you Rion!!

I know this isn't the best picture, but I wanted you to know what our new windows are looking like. We just had 17 windows put in throughout the house. It is really cool, because you can't see the curtains moving when the wind blows! And when we talk, everything sounds different too. We love it!

Matt came home from work early last week. He came in the house and said "everybody get ready to go sledding!" We love being in this house because we just have to go in our backyard. We have an AWSOME hill! The boys are out there every day after homework and into the night. Their favorite time is night time sledding!
