BSU
Matt just emailed me pictures from the Boise State game. The tickets Jeff gave them were AWESOME seats! He was in the perfect spot, and caught two field goal attempts. I'm sure he will be talking about the game for days. Thanks again Marianne and Jeff....family pictures are on me at Thanksgiving. Of course, they would have been anyway. Love you guys!
State Champions
Looks like Shelley wins again! We were completely undefeated this year. Matt went to Eagle with a good friend last night for the game. Marianne and Jeff let them stay the night at their house and gave them 2 tickets to the Boise State game today....starting in 15 minutes. Thanks Mar!! You and Jeff are the best! Matt has been so excited about the game, and seeing you guys. I wish the rest of us could have come. We'll just have to get in as much as we can together this next week for Thanksgiving.
Ammon has started his wrestling season, and is very excited about it. He is weighing in at 125. Ethen tried out for the basketball team, but did not make it. He took it well. He will do track in the spring. He took 3rd last year in districts in the long jump. Orion has an opportunity to have a small business during the lunch hour on Thursdays in his charter school. This starts up after Thanksgiving. We purchased his business license last week, and thanks to mom and dad, he is geared up to sell some AMAZING stuff. He can't stop talking about how much money he is going to make. I hope it is a good experience for him. If he is anything like me, he will continue to dream up things to do to earn money. Hey, mom, remember when we were going to raise long haired sheep, and spin the wool into cashmere???....Yeah, we should totally still do that!

We're Back!
Wow, we have been gone forever! The Garth and Patsy Harker page is out of commission, so I will start posting on this blog again. In 2010 I started going back to school at BYUI. I am majoring in Math Education. I am LOVING it! I could hang out in the Ricks building all day everyday. The twins are driving, Orion is enrolled in a charter school down in Blackfoot, and Brigham rules the second grade. Matt got a new job 2 years ago, still working in fire protection. We are excited to have mom and dad back from their mission, and are looking forward to this Thanksgiving holiday. Love life! Here is a picture of the boys on the first day of school.

Every Wednesday, and Friday mornings I get to babysit Kevin and Dana's little girl Suni. Kevin and Dana are both in school at the same time on those mornings, and of course I don't mind having a little girl around! Needless to say she gets LOTS of attention!! Here Orion is holding her and cougar is looking on with wonder!

Orion was baptized on January 5, 2008. It was such a great day! The weather wasn't very good. Lots of wind and snow. His baptism was scheduled for 10:00 that morning. When we got to the stake center, it was very quiet. The stake primary was there to help us get ready, and they said the other baptisms cancelled because of the weather. So they had been sitting there since 8:00! It was short and sweet and very quiet. Orion had a friend that was at the stake center cleaning with his family, and he got so excited thinking that he was there for his baptism. His mom let him stop cleaning and come in for it. Rion played the opening song on his violin, Matt baptized him, Jerry (Matt's Dad) confirmed him, and my mother gave a talk on baptism and the Holy Ghost. I had everyone there write a note to him for his baptism book. We love you Rion!!

Matt came home from work early last week. He came in the house and said "everybody get ready to go sledding!" We love being in this house because we just have to go in our backyard. We have an AWSOME hill! The boys are out there every day after homework and into the night. Their favorite time is night time sledding!
